  • Senior Scheduler, Brightwater At Home Central

    Brightwater is currently looking to employ an experienced and committed Senior Scheduler to join our Subiaco based team.

    This is a Permanent Full Time position working 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday with one evening shift per week from 1 pm to 9 pm.

    This is a varied and extremely busy role which will see you scheduling for a large number of care staff on a daily basis.

    As the Senior Scheduler you will develop and maintain master rosters, coordinate the allocation of staff with regard to client and business requirements, liaise with other Brightwater departments and external agencies regarding rosters and liaise with client Coordinators to make sure all clients’ needs are met.

    Part of your role will include direct client contact and as such you will be highly professional, have an exceptional phone manner and be a patient and compassionate individual.

    Your experience in this role will allow you to assist with the training and mentoring of scheduling staff and will see you continuously develop quality improvements.

    To be successful in your application you will have 18 months or more experience in a busy scheduling environment; have the ability to work without supervision, a thorough knowledge of roster software and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Multi Skilled Care Worker, Brightwater Birralee

    We are currently searching a Multi Skilled Care Worker to join our team at Brightwater Birralee, Innaloo. This is a permanent part time position working a variety of morning and afternoon shifts from Monday to Sunday. You must be flexible and able to cover shifts at short notice.

    You will be responsible for providing personal care and some administration of medication.

  • Nurse Practitioner, Community and Residential Aged Care

    If you are a qualified and endorsed Nurse Practitioner with at least five years’ experience in Chronic Disease Management, this new clinical position could be for you. This position is one of two being funded by the Nurse Practitioner Models of Practice Program implemented by the Department of Health and Ageing in November 2011.

    The successful Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced practice nursing services in a consultancy role for clients in Perth’s south metropolitan region, including four Brightwater residential facilities.

  • Community Care Coordinator, Brightwater At Home Rockingham

    Brightwater At Home Services is currently seeking an enthusiastic Community Care Coordinator to help manage a case load of clients across all community aged care programs.

    This is a full time position based in Rockingham, however travel throughout the South West Metropolitan area is also required.

    This role is busy and varied and will allow you to contribute to a rapidly growing organisation. You will be responsible for client assessment, developing care plans which focus on enablement and the promotion of well being, coordination of day to day activities to meet client needs, managing referrals and liaison with health professionals as well as staff management.

    Your previous experience and understanding of the ageing process will enable you to effectively manage your team and your demonstrated ability to support people to remain in their own homes will allow you to adapt quickly into this rewarding position.

  • Community Support Worker, Brightwater At Home Inner

    Brightwater is currently looking to employ a number of committed Community Support Workers to join our team in the Inner Perth suburbs.

    Suburbs include: Nedlands, Mosman Park, Cottesloe, Scarborough, Dalkeith, Subiaco, Shenton Park, Claremont, Tuart Hill, Doubleview as well as other inner suburbs.

    We have a variety of shifts available spanning 7 days a week and as such are able to offer flexible working hours to fit around your schedule.

    This is a varied and busy role which will see you visiting a number of different clients on any given day.

    As a Community Support worker you will be responsible for providing at home care to our elderly clients who wish to remain in the community.

    Duties will include, personal care, toileting, showering, attending appointments, domestic cleaning, meal preparation, manual handling using the appropriate equipment, assisting clients with food shopping and mobility as well as other tasks as directed.

    Due to the nature of the role you will be required to travel between clients and will be expected to travel over one or two suburbs; however will be reimbursed for mileage.

  • Maintenance Assistant (Fitter), Brightwater Linen

    We are currently searching for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Brightwater Linen, located in Malaga. This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday. You must be flexible in working hours and able to work weekends if required to accommodate production flows.

    Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Daily machine cleaning and inspection tasks
    • Maintenance, service and repair of equipment.
    • Attendance to machinery breakdowns including, pneumatics, mechanical and steam
    • Following established preventive maintenance programme
    • Undertaking basic Electrical Preventative maintenance

    The successful applicant will have experience in:
    • General and machinery maintenance.
    • Hydraulic and Pneumatic
    • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Occupational Therapist, Brightwater Services for Younger People Community Houses

    We are currently searching for an Occupational Therapist to join our Brightwater Services for Younger People Community Houses team. This is a permanent part time position working 15 hours per week. You must be available on a Tuesday, but any other days are negotiable.

    You are required to work primarily at our Manning and Maylands facilities and on a referral basis at our Bentley facility. You will be responsible for the following:
    • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide Occupational Interventions to all clients who receive permanent accommodation support in the community houses.
    • Supervise Therapy Assistants and support them in carrying out Activity Schedules which promote Community Inclusion and actively engage clients in the community.
    • Contribute to resident's care plans and ensures the effective implementation of the care plan for the wellbeing of the person.
    • Work with Volunteers, families, coordinates outings and liaise with relevant agencies and work programmes.
    • Provide access to equipment and resources for use by residents with disabilities and assists residents in mobility needs.

    Registration with the Occupational Therapist Board of Western Australia, current C Class Drivers Licence and experience working with clients with an Acquired Brain Injury are essential to apply.
