Consisting of 3 spacious houses, Brightwater Balcatta is a comfortable place for 12 people to call home. Our housemates have medium support needs and live their lives as independently as possible, with extra support for day-to-day activities including assisted lifting with or without hoists.

Consisting of 6 self-contained 2 bedroom units, Brightwater Bentley is a friendly place for 8-10 people to call home. Our housemates require light support and live their lives as independently as possible, including independently accessing local shops, going to the gym and participating in disability employment activities.

Consisting of 2 houses connected by a peaceful pergola, Brightwater Manning is a cosy place for 8 people to call home. Our housemates have medium to high care needs, with Brightwater team members always on hand to assist with day-to-day activities including assisted lifting with or without hoists.

Centrally located in Perth’s northern suburbs and close to the CBD, Brightwater Maylands is a supported community house for adults with complex disabilities.

Consisting of 2 adjoining houses, Brightwater Maylands is comfortable place for 6 people to call home. Our housemates have medium support needs and live their lives as independently as possible, with extra support for day-to-day activities including assisted lifting with or without hoists.

Situated south-of-the-river near Rockingham, Brightwater Warnbro is a supported community house for adults with complex disabilities.

Consisting of 2 adjoining houses, Brightwater Warnbro is a warm and welcoming place for 12 people to call home. Our housemates have medium support needs and live their lives as independently as possible, with extra support for day-to-day activities including assisted lifting with or without hoists.

Centrally located in Belmont, Brightwater Kailis House is a supported community house for people who are living with the initial symptomatic stages of Huntington’s disease. 

Brightwater Kailis House is a cosy place for 6 people to call home. Our housemates live as independently as possible, with extra support for day-to-day activities.

For those with higher care needs, the neighbouring Brightwater Ellison House provides 24/7 specialist support including palliative care.

Centrally located in Carlisle, Brightwater Ellison House provides 24/7 specialist care for people living with the later stages of Huntington’s disease.

Brightwater Ellison House is a comfortable place for 12 people to call home. Our residents have higher care needs, with staff available 24 hours a day who are skilled at providing support as our residents' care and mobility needs change. Our staff assist with personal care, medication management, dysphagia management, nursing and palliative care, as well as accessing therapy and medical support as needed.

Our home is fully equipped  and accessible, close to public transport and supported by trained Brightwater team members who promote independence for as long as possible, with extra assistance whenever required.

Welcome to our new Huntington’s Campus at Piara Waters.
We are excited to be in the planning stages for our new Huntington’s disease campus in Piara Waters.

Brightwater Care Group has a long history of supporting people, and their families, with Huntington’s disease and we are building a purpose-built home for the people we care for in the southern suburb of Piara Waters. Brightwater Care Group currently provides support for people living with Huntington’s disease at Kailis House in Belmont for people in early stages of the disease and Ellison House in Carlisle for people in later stages of the disease.

Whilst these supported independent living sites have been wonderful in many ways for the clients and their families who have called them their home, we now have opportunity to use our learnings and the input of people with Huntington’s disease and their families to create a new home that is purpose-built to the needs of people with Huntington’s disease.

This new world class campus, is being purpose-built to the highest standards, to support people with Huntington’s disease and provide accommodation for 21 clients over 7 homes. Each home will be certified as a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high needs. The residential campus will include 21 bedrooms and ensuites over seven houses with specialist assistive equipment and leading edge technology. Importantly, it will also include a sensory garden with zones for living, relaxing, engaging and socialising.
