Brightwater At Home

Brightwater offers a range of care services for people wanting to stay in their own homes. Individual care options are developed with the client and their family to provide the support they need to maintain independence in the familiarity and comfort of their own environment.

Brightwater At Home is a significant area of growth for Brightwater. Our concept for care in the community has developed considerably in recent years and has resulted in increases in quality of life and wellbeing for clients.

Brightwater At Home offers home care and personal support services enabling clients to continue living in their own homes, thereby providing an alternative to admission into residential care. The needs of each client are assessed by one of our Service Coordinators.   

Brightwater offers Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH), Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) and individual options of care for younger people with disabilities.

A range of individualised,  flexible services are developed in collaboration with the client and family.  These can include:

• Personal care
• Domestic assistance
• Household management
• Management of financial aspects of the package
• Staff management
• Transfers
• Mobility support
• In home meal preparation
• Community support and interaction
• Employment support

Services are operated across the Perth metropolitan area and in some regional areas. The entry process is very similar to that for residential care.

Home and Community Care (HACC)

Brightwater At Home also offers HACC services designed for adults of any age who only need a small amount of assistance - perhaps once or twice a week - to enable them to remain living independently. This can include help with everyday tasks like showering, dressing, domestic assistance and social support such as shopping, paying bills ect.
