Brightwater The Oaks offers quality, high care residential accommodation for older people. Located in Waikiki, Brightwater The Oaks has 61 private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, formal lounge/dining rooms, and a clubhouse, all with reverse cycle air conditioning. The Oaks' Care Manager and staff have created a caring, positive and interactive community.

There are a number of health services provided to residents at The Oaks. The Allied Health Team includes an Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants. Residents can choose to have their own doctor provide medical care or they may choose to have a doctor who visits the site regularly to provide that care. Seating and Postural Care Services and Dietetic Services are also available.

The Oaks offers a range of services and variety of activities for residents. There is a weekly on-site hairdressing service, monthly church services, various outings, as well as volunteers assisted activities. Fortnightly outings include restaurant meals and sightseeing visits. Entertainers perform on site once a month.  All birthdays are celebrated and family and friends are welcome to participate.
