Brightwater Oxford Gardens offers quality, high care services to 61 residents in the north western suburbs of Perth.  Located near the end of Mitchell freeway, Oxford Gardens is easily accessed by Joondalup trains and buses.  Brightwater Oxford Gardens has 60 private rooms with ensuite bathrooms and reverse cycle air conditioning. There are formal lounges and dining rooms, as well as a Clubhouse. The Care Manager and Oxford Gardens staff have created a caring, positive and interactive community for older people and people requiring dementia care.

There are a number of health services provided to residents at Oxford Gardens. The Allied Health Team includes an Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, Podiatrists, and Therapy Assistants. Residents can choose to have their own doctor provide medical care or they may choose to have a doctor who visits the site regularly to provide that care. Seating and Postural Care Services and Dietetic Services are also available.

Brightwater Oxford Gardens offers a variety of activities and services for residents, including a weekly on-site hairdressing service, church services, various outings, and social and recreational activities which includes morning tea’s, BBQ’s, dinner parties, theme days, animal farm visits, and intergenerational playgroup. There are also therapy activities which promote cognitive, communication and physical skills such as bowls, bingo, exercise, reminiscence, and sensory stimulation. Entertainers perform on site once a month and the Joondalup Library provides residents with a door-to-door service of all library needs including large print, talking books and books in all languages. There is also a designated library area on site next to the Clubhouse and all residents are welcome to borrow books or magazines.
