Brightwater Services

Brightwater Kingsley offers quality, high care accommodation and services for people with varying needs. Located in Kingsley, Brightwater operates a residential high care service with 22 private rooms each with ensuite bathrooms, and a transition care service with 44 private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The Care Manager and the staff at Brightwater Kingsley have created a caring, positive and interactive community for people with varying needs including dementia care.

There are a number of health services provided to residents at Brightwater Kingsley. The Allied Health Team includes an Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Therapy Assistants, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Speech Pathologists. Residents have an individualised care plan and family members are encouraged to have input into these care plans. Residents can choose to have their own doctor provide medical care or they may choose to have a doctor who visits the site regularly to provide that care. Seating and Postural Care Services and Dietetic Services are also available.

Other services and activities provided at Kingsley include hairdressing services, church services, bus outings, gardening, cooking, bingo, quizzes, Men’s Group, individual programmes, exercise programmes, and sensory stimulation which includes manicures and massages. Visiting entertainers perform on site once a month. The Kingsley Library also provides a door-to-door service of all library needs including large print, talking books and books in all languages.
