Brightwater Services

Brightwater Huntingdale offers quality, low care residential accommodation for older people.  Located in Huntingdale, the facility has 30 private rooms with ensuite bathrooms and reverse cycle air conditioning. The Care Manager and  Brightwater Huntingdale staff have created a caring, positive and interactive community for older people and people requiring dementia care.

There are a number of health services provided to residents at Brightwater Huntingdale. Allied Health Staff include an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist and Therapy Assistants. Podiatry Services are also provided at the facility every six weeks. Residents are free to choose their own doctor to provide medical care or they may wish to rely on a doctor who visits Huntingdale regularly. Seating and Postural Care Services and Dietetic Services are also available.

Other services and activities provided at Huntingdale include a weekly on-site hairdressing service, manicures, bus outings, gardening, cooking, bingo, card games, quizzes, mini golf and monthly happy hour. Entertainers perform on site once a month and the Gosnells Library provides Huntingdale with a door-to-door service of all library needs including large print, talking books, videos and books in all languages.
