Referrals to Brightwater’s rehabilitation facilities are received from various sources, including acute hospitals, Shenton Park Campus, the State Head Injury Unit and the community.
Requests for rehabilitation can be made by calling Oats Street directly.
Brightwater Residential Accommodation
Admission criteria for the Community Houses focus on:
• Diagnosis of an acquired disability
• Aged between 18 and 65
• Compatibility with other residents
All of Brightwater’s residential services are funded by the Disability Services Commission of WA (DSC). Referrals to Brightwater can only be considered for people who are deemed by DSC to be eligible for their services and who are listed as needing accommodation support under the Commission’s Combined Application Process (CAP).
