Seatec (Seating and Equipment Clinic) provides a specialist service to the clients of Brightwater on a consultation basis to address their seating, postural, mobility, equipment, pressure management or splinting needs. Referrals are sent to Seatec by the site Allied Health staff member or registered nurse.
We are now able to accept referrals from clients external to Brightwater and organisations for the provision of the following services:
- Assessment by specialist clinicians of seating, postural, pressure management and equipment requirements
- Purchase of items from Seatec. These include an extensive range of standard and customised cushions, positioning blocks/devices, belts/straps, and protective items as well as a selection of commercial products.
- Upholstery services which is the covering of various items in a range of fabrics and colours.
